2025 ComEd Powering Safe Communities Grant

The Village of South Chicago Heights is 1 of 23 communities in Northern Illinois to receive the "Powering Safe Communities Program" grant.  Earlier this year we sought to acquire the funds to purchase 2 solar-powered radar speed signs to place in our school zones. We are ecstatic that we have been awarded the opportunity to keep our children even more safe.
