Operating Budget

Audited Financial Report
Illinois state law requires each municipality (with a population of 800 or more) to have an audit of its funds and accounts made by an independent accountant in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards.

Annual Treasurer's Report
Illinois state law requires the treasurer of each municipality to prepare an annual account of the moneys received and expenditures incurred within 6 months after the end of each fiscal year.

The Village of South Chicago Heights is the fiduciary for two employee defined benefit pension funds and is required to report on their financial position and operating results within 6 months after the end of each fiscal year.

Total Compensation Report
Public Act 097-0609 requires that, within 6 business days of the approval of their annual budgets, all IMRF employers post on their websites the total compensation package for each employee having a total compensation package that exceeds $75,000 per year.
