Building Department - Contractors
A contractor must fill out the Contractor’s Application and provide a Certificate of Insurance and Surety Bond. By requiring that the contractor is registered with the Village, helps to insure that the work is being done properly and that the homeowner is being protected.
In addition, plumbers and roofers must provide a copy of their state license, and electricians must also provide a copy of where they took their test.

A list of contractors who have been licensed in the Village is available at the Village Hall. Additionally, an annually updated list is provided by the Building Department.
