Are fireworks allowed within the village during the holiday seasons?

No.  Per village ordinance 34-230 it is unlawful for any person to have in his/her possession or to discharge any firework(s) enumerated in section 34-229.  State law also prohibits the possession and discharge of fireworks in the state of Illinois.  


The police department strictly enforces violations of the village ordinance pertaining to fireworks.
